Flambe Glaze Porcelain Fengweizhen Vase
This elegant porcelain vase is a fine example of the flambé glaze technique, developed in the Kangxi reign (1662-1722) and celebrated for its rich oxblood red tones (created by oxidising iron & copper) called "sang de boeuf" and subtle variations of depth and shading.
