2 Way Stone Lamp Niche From Jaisalmer - 19th Century (On Stand)
This exquisite antique stone lamp niche originates from Jaisalmer, in the Thar Desert of northern Rajasthan. Carved by hand from the region’s distinctive golden-yellow sandstone, it features twin arched recesses framed by floral and leaf motifs, characteristic of Rajasthani architectural ornamentation. The surface bears traces of its original patina and timeworn texture, while the soft, honeyed hue of the sandstone glows beautifully under light. A fine architectural fragment mounted on a bespoke iron stand, now serving as a sculptural object for display.
