This Chinese kitchen Cabinet dates from the 19th century, Qing dynasty (1644ā¬ā1911). As the name suggests was used in the kitchen for drying noodles and storing food. Their defining characteristic is latticework on the doors which allows for airflow in and out of the cabinet. This gives them a totally unique look which makes them stand out from other cabinets of their size. This example is one of the finest examples we've seen with faux bamboo chain link lattice work and tall refined door styling.Ā
This particular piece comes with four outward opening upper latticework doors which reveal a large internal space. Separating the bottom cabinet space are six drawers, perfect for cutlery or other kitchen utensils.
