Double Sided Stone Jali Panel From Rajasthan - 19th Century

This beautiful double sided stone jali panel from Rajasthan, India dates to the 19th century. Many of these panels were carved only on the external face but this one has carving on both sides. The fretwork enabled privacy whilst allowing a cooling breeze to enter the building.
