This beautifully carved 19th century blue painted Indian door has been salvaged from an old building in Kutch. the layers of old paint still visible on this original piece. They could be used as doors, freestanding, or hung as wall art. 

 

These doors would have originally been used as the front door of a merchant's home. They are saved from buildings in India which have fallen into a state of disrepair and are no longer in a repairable state.

 

Although this is a heavy piece, Indigo Antiques have a trained delivery team to bring it into your home. We can provide advice to your builders however we will need to discuss your hinge and hanging requirements before arranging delivery if you wish to use this as a functional door. Hinges may incur a small additional charge depending on your specifications.

 

Specifications:

- Suitable for Indoor & outdoor use but paint will fade over time
