This hand embroidered suzani throw has been individually chosen by our buyers in Jaipur, India. Each suzani is hand stitched and completely unique. Suzanis are traditionally the work of The Uzbek people. The word 'suzani' derives from the Farsi word for 'needle' and involves highly skilled wonderful silk embroidery. Suzanis make for great bed covers, bedspreads & throws.

 

Suzanis were traditionally made by Central Asian brides as part of their dowry and were presented to the groom on the wedding day.
