This pretty carved roheda mirror is made from an original Shekhawati roheda window frame. Shekhawati is a desert region in Rajasthan well known for its excellent quality of Mughal carving. As well as old carvings, faded red and black beading can also be seen running around the frame.
These windows date to the 19th century and have been adapted and fitted with modern mirror glass. As they are reclaimed from buildings they're also environmentally friendly.
