This chest is made from Indonesian teak wood with three painted drawers. A low chest of drawers like this is rare to find in Western furniture.Ā Ā

The brass locking plates are original to the piece and have ring pulls added below for ease of use replacing the original necessity for keys. The locks have long since been removed.Ā
