Rosewood Scent Bottle Box From Lucknow - 19th Century
 This pretty rosewood scent box is typical of 'Lucknow work', it has wonderful intricate brass inlay work on the lid. It also has the name of a previous owner engraved on the lid.
Two of the original scent bottles are there, only one  intact . The interior velvet lining shows signs of age and ware but the gilt frame edging the original old mirror is very charming  A delightful collectors piece Â
