This lovely painted Indian door has been salvaged from an old building in Gujarat. The carving style is indicative of Kutchi doors but the painting style is more reminiscent of Rajasthan. Delicately painted flowers can be found on a lush green painted background. The frames are painted a rich cinnabar red with carved peacocks and lotus flowers.
This door is entirely original and can be hung as wall art or kept on the stand as a portable room divider. We can remove the stand on request and advise you on how to incorprorate these as functional doors in your home.
