This beautifully carved Indian antique door is from Gujarat. Constructed from teak wood and dating to the 19th century, these sturdy doors are topped with beautiful, deep floral carvings in subtle pastel pinks and greens. The doors themselves feature six panels showcasing intricate and deep floral carvings and sunburst designs.
These doors are saved from buildings in India, which have fallen into a state of disrepair and are no longer in a repairable state. At the top of the door, you can see a bar for padlocking the doors shut when leaving the home.Ā
Although this is a heavy piece, Indigo Antiques has a trained delivery team to bring it into your home.
